These terms cover your use of speechmade.co.uk and any speech you buy from us. Please read them before you pay. If anything is unclear, email hello@speechmade.co.uk.
About us
Speechmade is a trading name of Kreativity Marketing Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number [company number], registered office [registered address], VAT number [VAT number]).
What Speechmade does
You answer questions about the people you are speaking about, choose a tone and length, and we write a speech from your answers. You can read the opening of the speech for free. If you choose to buy it, you get:
- the full speech, written to the length you chose
- printable cue cards
- two free rewrites
- a copy sent to your email address
- access to your speech page for 30 days from when the speech was first written
After 30 days your speech and answers are deleted, so please save or print a copy before then.
How your speech is written
Speeches are written by AI, using Claude, a model made by Anthropic, guided by your answers and by the usual customs for each type of speech. The AI is told to use only the facts you give it. Even so, AI can make mistakes, so please read your speech carefully before you use it and check that the names, dates and details are right. You are responsible for the final words you say on the day.

Your answers
Please only include information you are happy to share, and avoid including sensitive details about other people that the speech doesn't need. You must not use Speechmade to write anything unlawful, abusive or defamatory, or to try to overload or misuse the service. We limit the number of free previews each day to keep the service fair.
Price and payment
The price is shown before you pay and includes VAT. Payment is taken securely by Stripe. We will send your receipt by email.
Your right to cancel
Your speech is digital content that we supply as soon as you pay. When you pay, you ask us to supply it straight away, and you agree that you lose the usual 14-day right to cancel once the speech has been shown to you. This does not affect your rights if something goes wrong, which are explained below.
If something goes wrong
Your speech should be written with reasonable care and match what we describe. If it doesn't, for example if the speech doesn't appear, is badly wrong for your answers, or the rewrites don't work, email us within 30 days of paying with the link to your speech. We will try to put it right, and if we can't, we will give you a full refund.
This doesn't affect your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Citizens Advice can tell you more about your rights.
Who owns the speech
Once you have paid, the speech is yours to use, change, print and share however you like, for your own event. We won't publish it or use it for anything else. The website itself, including its design, text and example speeches, belongs to us.
Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for how a speech is received on the day. Unless the law says otherwise, our total responsibility to you for a speech is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to the service and these terms
We may update Speechmade and these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your purchase are the ones shown on this page when you paid.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
